Social and cultural factors influencing ministry formation and development in an era of globalization.
My passion as an instructor of global leadership is to raise up modern-day men and women of Issachar who “understand the times and know what they should do” (1 Chronicles 12:32). Understanding the social and cultural factors influencing ministry formation and development is essential for effective gospel proclamation in an era of globalization.
The Apostle Paul knew that to reach people who are different culturally, we must culturally adapt to their ways of understanding, “To the Jews, I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the Law, as under the Law, though not being myself under the Law, that I might win those who are under the Law; to those who are without law, as without law, though not being without the law of God but under the law of Christ, that I might win those who are without law. I have become all things to all men, that I may by all means save some” (9:20-22).
