Brian R. Schwarz brings an extensive track record in operations and finance, focusing on driving revenue growth, streamlining operations, and implementing innovative solutions. In his leadership roles, he has demonstrated expertise in developing high-net-worth relationships, project management, sales, data analytics, business partnerships, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Brian most recently held both the Senior VP of Support Operations and VP of Enrollment & Administration position at Bethany in Bloomington, MN, before coming to Crown College. There, Brian oversaw a wide range of departments, including HR, Enrollment, Advancement, Marketing, Communications, Media, Work Study, Student Industries, Ministry Partnerships, and Financial Aid. His experience also includes roles at Wells Fargo, where he focused on operational risk consulting and retirement payroll management.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Business Management from Augsburg University. His entrepreneurial spirit is evident in his varied experiences, from leading an indie rock band on national tours to writing fiction novels and managing a CPA firm. Brian is passionate about fostering high-performing teams and contributing to mission-driven organizations.
Brian and his wife Kara live in Shakopee, MN, with their two boys, Caspian and Everett. They adore visiting missionary friends out in the field, serving coffee from their coffee shop in Bloomington, MN, and taking long impromptu road trips all over the US.
When Brian isn’t working or serving his community here or abroad, you’ll usually find him fishing.
