- What is PSEO?
- PSEO (Post Secondary Education Options) is a free state-funded dual enrollment program that allows 11th and 12th-grade qualified Minnesota students to enroll in FREE college courses that earn them credits simultaneously for both their high school graduation requirements and a college degree.
- What is the admissions process?
- Apply online, submit a completed MDE NOSR form, submit a high school transcript.
- Once all of these forms are received, your completed file will be processed.
- Once you are accepted, you will receive an email with further instructions.

- What is the MDE/NOSR form and how do I fill it out?
- The MDE/NOSR form is a MN state form required to maintain PSEO student status.
- A new form must be submitted each semester.
- What test or GPA requirements are there?
- We do not require any test scores to be eligible for PSEO student status.
- For on-campus students, a high school GPA of 3.25 is required.
- For online and PSEO partner students, a GPA of 3.0 is required.

- How do I choose my classes?
- Public school students must work with their guidance counselor to choose classes and to ensure that Crown PSEO classes will fulfill their high school grad requirements.
- Homeschool students must work with their homeschool parent to decide on what classes will best suit their high school course load and what will work best for college degree planning. See our helpful resource page for more information about homeschooling high school.
- How do I register for classes?
- Once you have been accepted to our On-Campus PSEO program, you will receive emails with detailed instructions on how to activate your Crown account/email and how to register.
- On-Campus students will attend an in-person registration event where you will meet with an advisor and register for classes.
- Prior to the registration day event, you will be required to meet with your PSEO Advisor to be cleared for registration. You will receive information about this once you are accepted.
- Online students will be emailed registration instructions and will be offered an orientation day in July.
- How do the online classes work?
- What is FERPA?
- Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) sets out requirements designed to govern the access to and release of educational records, to establish the right of students to inspect and review their records, and to provide guidelines for the correction of inaccurate or misleading data through informal and formal hearings. Students also have the right to file complaints with the FERPA Office (U.S. Department of Education) concerning alleged failures of Crown College to comply with provisions of FERPA. Crown College has adopted policies and procedures concerning the implementation of FERPA on campus. Copies of the entire policy are available from the Registrar’s Office as well as the Registrar’s Office website. If your parents, high school teachers, or a guidance counselor need to be able to. The student grants FERPA permission from their Our.Crown account once they are accepted as a PSEO student. Crown staff and instructors cannot speak with parents about the students’ education without FERPA permission. We recommend that this be done when registering for classes.

- Can I earn my Associate of Arts Degree through PSEO?
- Earning an A.A. Degree is a great option for many diligent students. Please contact us at dualenroll@crown.edu for more information.
- Will I need textbooks?
- Some classes require physical textbooks, which are paid for by the state. You will receive more information about textbooks prior to the start of class.
- Can a PSEO student live on campus?
- Accepted On-Campus PSEO students who are 17-years or older can apply to live on-campus, but will be placed on a waitlist until all of our degree-seeking students have been placed in housing.
- On-Campus housing will require room and board payment.

- What is Welcome Week?
- Welcome Week is the week before classes begin where on-campus PSEO students attend an orientation and other community activities.
- PSEO students are required to attend the PSEO Check-In Day. More information is emailed to students in July.
- What is PSEO?

- Crown College partners with Christian high schools to offer qualified 11th and 12th grade students in-person PSEO courses conveniently located at their own school with face-to-face instruction from credentialed teachers.

- PSEO Partners are assigned a Crown PSEO Advisor to assist students through the admissions process, which requires students to follow the same steps listed out on Application Process webpage

- What is Dual Enrollment?
- Dual enrollment is a program that allows high school students to take college courses and earn college credit while still in high school.
- Who can participate?
- Students who are in 11th and 12th grade are eligible to participate in Crown’s dual enrollment program
- How much does it cost?
- Tuition is $90/Credit
- In-person classes have an additional $180 Enhanced Course fee
- Books are free in all classes
- What is the admissions process?
- Dual Enrollment students follow the steps listed out on our Application Process webpage. Our Dual Enrollment Partners will be assigned a PSEO Advisor to assist students through the admissions process.
