Dr. Dee McDonald

Dr. Dee McDonald began his role as Vice President of Enrollment & Marketing at Crown College in June 2022. Prior to that time, he served for 10 years at his alma mater, Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois, two years as Chief Enrollment Officer at North Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and five years as Executive Director of Graduate Enrollment at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. Dee has overseen both undergraduate and graduate enrollment, plus a myriad of other contributing areas, including class planning, financial aid modeling, site development, program development, and athletic recruitment.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Social Science Education and Master of Business Administration from Olivet Nazarene University, and his PhD in Organizational Leadership from Southeastern University, studying the relationship between Authentic Leadership, Authentic Followership, and Organizational Commitment within Christian Higher Education. In his free time, he enjoys coaching his kids in sports, playing slow-pitch softball and spending time with his wife enjoying a movie or a meal. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Amanda McDonald, and, together, they have two beautiful children.

Dee is deeply committed to building healthy teams and systems through an authentic approach, developing leaders and followers who impact both their institutions and Christian Higher Education. “I am blessed to be part of a college and team desiring to be Boldly Christian in everything we say and do.
