Martha Swift

VP of Student Development

Martha’s 15+ years of experience in higher education has been in a myriad of areas within Student Development including Residence Life, Campus Ministries, Student Activities, Orientation/Welcome Week, Student Leadership, Crisis Management, and Student Conduct. She is driven by a commitment to excellence, intentionality, and a passion to see holistic transformation in the lives of students. Since coming on staff at Crown in 2017, she has contributed to a revitalized campus culture.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry from Bethel University, MN and a Master of Education in College Student Affairs from Azusa Pacific University, CA. Since 2018, she has served as a Collaborative Leader for ACSD (Association for Christians in Student Development). In 2021, she co-founded the Christian Student Leadership Collective (CSLC), which coordinates a global annual virtual student leadership conference event.

Martha and her husband Hal have been married for 26+ years and were active in full-time church ministry for most of that time. They have 3 children: John, Charlie, and Faith. Martha enjoys running and taking family walks.
