Faith Statement

Jesus is identified as The Word of God made Flesh (John 1:1, 14), and literacy is the gift of being able to understand words. Far-stretch? I am convinced that literacy is part of the essential nature of humanity that demonstrates Imago Dei, or the stamp of God’s own image in humanity. Motivation to communicate through words drives me to teach others to use this great gift.
