Crown’s B.A. degree in Biblical + Theological Studies provides students with the opportunity to develop theological understanding with a view to teach the Word of God, or as a supplement to other careers.

BIB 231 - Principles of Biblical Interpretation

This course is designed to help the student master fundamental lexical, grammatical, and historical-cultural principles needed to interpret Scripture. It concludes with guidance in how to apply Scripture to contemporary life and problems.

LAN 341 - Greek I

This course provides an introduction to New Testament Greek and includes a study in vocabulary, syntax, and grammar of the Greek New Testament. Translations of selected portions of the writings of John will be made.

THE 348X - Theological Perspectives of Cultural Thought

This course prepares students to engage cultural systems and to conceptualize and comprehend pre-modern to current theological perspectives. The class analyzes philosophical developments that have shaped current concepts of society and self. Students will be equipped to interact with cultural trends from a biblically informed and culturally intelligent posture.

Our faculty to student ratio is 17:1. We intentionally aim to keep our class sizes small. This allows us to maintain academic excellence and strong relationships between faculty and students. At Crown College, every student is a person and not just another number.

Our Student Development Office has a dedicated position to assist students throughout the year. The Coordinator of Student Success gladly meets with students and connects them with various campus resources. The services in this role are designed to increase academic success and build community.
