Crown’s Elementary Education degree is the perfect major for those desire to make a difference in the lives of children and/or adolescents, and collaborate with other education professionals. Crown’s Elementary Education degree programs is for those called to teach young children in classrooms for grades K-6 and is structured to meet the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board K-6 licensure requirements.
This major is a great fit for students who have a desire to work with people, make a difference in the lives of children and adolescents, and collaborate with other professionals.
Work alongside faculty and students who are passionate about education and infuse faith into their work.
Teacher candidates are provided experience-based instruction through classroom observations, clinicals, and student teaching. Students integrate theory into practice within a Christ-centered learning environment.
Faculty members intentionally incorporate a Biblical Worldview into every course at Crown College. Students are empowered to integrate faith into their academic pursuits and personal development.
I have the opportunity to not just be in a caring community, but a community that fosters the same values and faith. There are so many different perspectives here from students and professors, and it creates so many opportunities to grow.
Being at Crown makes you want to stay at Crown for the rest of your life; but being at Crown also gets you excited for what God is preparing you to do after college, too.
