Why study History at Crown?

Flexibility

History provides an excellent foundation for roles in nearly every sector. You'll be qualified to pursue additional academic study at the master’s level or pursue immediate employment.

Well-Rounded Foundation

In this major, you'll take a variety of courses, such as political science, geography, cultural anthropology, and research methods. You'll truly become a well-rounded thinker and learner.

Faith Integration

Crown College approaches history from a Biblical worldview. This shapes how we study history and look at the world: our belief is that God is sovereign over the nations and has established order and truth in the universe and history

I have the opportunity to not just be in a caring community, but a community that fosters the same values and faith. There are so many different perspectives here from students and professors, and it creates so many opportunities to grow.

Being at Crown makes you want to stay at Crown for the rest of your life; but being at Crown also gets you excited for what God is preparing you to do after college, too.
