COM 362X - Video Editing

This class will combine the basics of film editing software procedures with aesthetic skills in order to explore the essential practices of post-production. (Also FAR 362X) Offered alternate years (odd)

COM 325X - Faith and Film

This class will challenge students to think critically about how films portray various theological concepts and how to engage with them in one’s own personal spiritual development and ministry contexts. Students will apply a firm understanding of hermeneutics as it pertains both to interpreting the Scriptures as well as film. An emphasis will be placed on analyzing how theology is contextualized through film by examining various themes as depicted in the world of cinema. (Also THE 325X)

COM 351X - Advanced Photography

This advanced photography course will focus on advanced techniques in photography give specific attention to studio photography. Students will also work with editing software to finish their photos. (Also FAR 351X)

What is the Faculty to Student Ratio?

Our faculty to student ratio is 17:1. We intentionally aim to keep our class sizes small. This allows us to maintain academic excellence and strong relationships between faculty and students. At Crown College, every student is a person and not just another number.

Will my credits transfer?

We generally accept credits from accredited institutions as long as the student maintained a C or higher in the course. To see a full list of what classes will transfer, you can visit Transferology or contact our registrar office at registrar@crown.edu.

What academic resources are available?
